In Steel is a family run business, established since 1991. We continue to develop a highly regarded client base in the UK, predominantly in the South West of England, founded upon our reputation for quality and efficiency.
In June 2006 In Steel moved into a purpose built factory on our 2 acre site, housing over 40 employees, including designers, estimators, fabricators, machine operators and welders.
We design and fabricate Staircases, Fire Escapes, Structural Steel, Stainless Steel and Structural Glass Balustrades, Steel Buildings, Gates, Railings, Stainless Steel Fabrications.
We have a separate workshop in which we produce our stainless steel and aluminium fabrications to prevent cross contamination from iron particles.
We pride ourselves in providing a professional, tailor-made service and we offer a range of products and services, to meet your requirements.
We have a quality management system in place and currently have BS-EN 1090-1 CE marking Execution class 3 which became a requirement by law on the 1st July 2014 for all steel used in construction.
We have our own grit blasting up to 12m in length together with wet paint facilities and hot metal spraying. We also have powder coating capacity up to 6.5m in length in house.
Our new powder coating facility was commissioned back in October 2017 and partly funded after receiving a grant from the BIG2 project funded from the ERDF as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The new facility has enabled us to employ new members of staff and allowed us to work with more local, National and European businesses.
Recently commissioned in November 2018 and partly funded after receiving a grant from the BIG2 project funded from the ERDF as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. Our new plasma cutting unit has enabled us to employ new members of staff and allowed us to work with more local, National and European businesses.
