Facilities
In Steel has a 12,000 sq ft purpose built factory with a further expansion of 6000 sq ft planned on our 2 acre site.
The factory has 2 production areas, the largerest area for the fabrication of ferrous metals and a smaller seperate unit for the fabrication of aluminium and stainless steel.
The factory has overhead cranes with maximum capacity of 10 tonnes.
Machines include CNC plasma profiler with 4m x 2m bed with 20mm capacity in mildsteel and aluminium and 15mm in stainless steel.
Other machines include plate rolls 2.4m with 10mm pre bend, tube and section rollers, 160 tonne x 3m press brake, 6mm x3m guillotine, steelworkers, and bandsaws including automatic.
In house grit blasting to 12m in length, wet painting, hot metal spraying and powder coating oven up to 6.5m.
Site repairs and site welding are a regular part of our work load.
We are able to weld and work with mildsteel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper and Corten.
Designers use their experience to achieve customer wishes using Srucad and Tekla CAD/CAM 3D and Autocad software.
